Pleomorphic Adenoma in the Left Parotid Gland
Parotid Tumor Surgery in Istanbul by Prof. Cetin Vural, M.D.
A 42-year-old female patient presented with complaints of a mass that was noticed under her right ear about 20 days ago. Following the examinations, a tumor was detected in the right parotid salivary gland. The patient underwent a right superficial parotidectomy surgery, and the excised mass was reported as a pleomorphic adenoma (mixed tumor) as a result of the histopathological examination. The patient was discharged on the second day after the surgery without any issues.
