Pleomorphic Adenoma in the Left Parotid Gland
Parotid Tumor Surgery in Istanbul by Prof. Cetin Vural, M.D.
A 32-year-old female patient presented with a complaint of a mass under her left earlobe for the past 3-4 years. Previous examinations had indicated the presence of a salivary gland tumor. The patient underwent a left superficial parotidectomy surgery, during which the mass and some surrounding salivary gland tissue were successfully removed. The histopathological examination confirmed that the mass was a pleomorphic adenoma. The patient was discharged without any complications.
