Pleomorphic Adenoma in the Left Parotid Gland
Parotid Tumor Surgery in Istanbul by Prof. Cetin Vural, M.D.
A 23-year-old male patient presented with a complaint of a lump under his left ear that he had noticed in the past few weeks. The examinations revealed a tumor in the left parotid salivary gland. The patient underwent a superficial parotidectomy, and he was discharged without any problems on the second day after the surgery. The histopathological examination of the removed tissues confirmed it as a pleomorphic adenoma.
