Pleomorphic Adenoma in the Left Parotid Gland
Parotid Tumor Surgery in Istanbul by Prof. Cetin Vural, M.D.
A 23-year-old male patient presented to our clinic due to a mass he noticed under his left earlobe in recent weeks. Following the examinations, it was found that there was a tumor in the left parotid salivary gland. The patient underwent a superficial parotidectomy, and was discharged on the second day after the surgery without any complications. The histopathological examination of the excised tissues reported a pleomorphic adenoma.
